Lina Hägerström Kindblad

Born and raised in Ystad.

Education: Malmö Academy of Music and Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

Joined the Opera in 2011.

Roles at the Opera: Waltraute (Die Walküre), Inez (Il trovatore), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Basia (The Promise), Karolka (Jenufa) and Flower Girl in Le Nozze di Figaro, Otohime (Taro - Short Stories III) and Fräulein (När knoppar brister - Short Stories III).

Other engagements: the alto parts in Mozart's Requiem, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio, Bach's St Matthew Passion, Rossini's Petite Messe Solenelle and Beethoven's Missa Solemnis and the 9th Symphony.

Tours in Sweden with the self-invented children's performance Figaros Wedding in 30 mins with soprano Elin Skorup and cabaret performance ¡Hipp, hipp Olé! with soprano Hedvig Jalhed.
