Malin Emilson

Soprano Malin Emilson comes from Örebro and was educated at Operastudio -67 in Stockholm. Malin has been an employee at the Roay Swedsih Opera since 2001.

Lately Malin has portrayed Vampyre 1 in Viktoria Borisova Ollas’ opera Dracula, Tuesday in Tristessa by Jonas S. Bohlin and one of the Flower girls in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Malin is a reccuring artist in Kungliga Operan’s summer and lunch concerts. Malin has also been engaged by Unga Operan (Young Opera) in concerts and opera for children.

Other engagements include: Malin has, among other things, portrayed Jenny Lind, Micaëla (Carmen) and Ellen in Pälsen by Miklós Maros/Lasse Zilliacus. She likes to sing lied concerts but focuses mainly on newly written music and has made several world premieres by Eskil Hemberg, Miklós Maros and Sten Hanson.
