Kristina Martling
Kristina Martling studied at the Academy of Music and the University College of Opera in Stockholm.
She has been employed by the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus since 2001 and has appeared in soloist roles such as The Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Schwertleite and Grimgerde in Die Walküre, First Norn in Götterdämmerung, The Mother in My Mother is a Dragon, Death in The Nightingale, The Mother, The Dragonfly and The Teacup in Barnet och spökerierna, Madelon and the Countess in Andrea Chenier, Third Secretary in Nixon in China, Erste Magd in Elektra, La Zia Principessa in Soeur Angelica and Judith in The Promise.
She has also performed Carmen at Norrlandsoperan, participated in the role of Mother Helena at the world premiere of Riket är ditt at the Vadstena Academy, sung Flosshilde's part in Das Rheingold under Kent Nagano in Gothenburg and with Alan Gilbert in Stockholm.
Kristina Martling regularly appears as a soloist at romance concerts.
