Henriikka Gröndahl
Henrikka Gröndahl is a lyric soprano, born in Turku, Finland, raised in Stockholm. She holds a Bachelor of Music, a Post Graduate and Master of Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and a Master of Advanced Opera from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow. Immediately after her education, she sang Pamina at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
She got her permanent position in the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus in 2018 and has previously sung roles such as Mimì and Donna Elvira at Scottish Opera, Pamina, Musetta, Nannetta and Julia at the Göteborg Opera, Fiordiligi at Samling Opera, Liù at Folkoperan, Olympia/Antonia/Giulietta in Hoffmann's Erzählungen at Folkoperan, sung Euridice at Norrlandsoperan and at Armel Opera Festival, 5th Magd at Liceu in Barcelona and Princesse and Musetta at the Royal Swedish Opera.
She is a frequently Lied, concert and oratorio singer in Rossini's Stabat Mater (Scotland and Liverpool Concert Hall), Mozart's Requiem in Barcelona, Imperia and on a Swedish tour, Beethoven's 9th in the Concert Hall, Villa Lobos Bachiana's Brasileiras in Gothenburg Concert Hall with Gustavo Dudamel, Brahms Requiem in Cheltenham, Linköping and Helsingborg Concert Hall with Andrew Manze and Bramwell Tovey, Handel's Messiah in Edinburgh, Mozart cantatas in Bergen, Haydn's Die Schöpfung with Gustav Sjökvist in De Geerhallen, as well as in Orff's Carmina Burana in Berwaldhallen, Bach's St Matthew Passion in Nidaros Cathedral, Bach's Christmas Oratorio in Odense, Lars Erik Larsson's Det förlovade landet in Helsingborg and Förklädd gud in both Dalecarlia and Stockholm, etc. She is a constant soloist in the Stockholm City Hall's Advent concerts and has performed at music festivals in Spain and Italy with Duo Gröndahl/Pontén.
