Lisa Thor
Lisa Thor was born and raised in Stockholm and trained at Kulturama/Classical Singing, Operastudio 67 and the University College of Opera in Stockholm where she graduated in 2014.
She has previously performed roles such as Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte) Oper im Berg Festival - Salzburg 2014, Contessa di Folleville (Il viaggio à Reims) Baxter Theatre - Cape Town 2014 and US Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera) at Cirkus in Stockholm 2016-2017.
In 2013 she won the “Mozart Prize” in the competition “Grandi Voci” - Oper im Berg Festival, Salzburg.
In addition, Lisa has received a number of scholarships, including from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music as well as the Kurt Bendix Foundation, etc.
Lisa has been employed by the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus since 2016 and has performed roles such as Una Novizia (Suor Angelica) and Daughter in the chamber opera Bagatelle by Martin Virin.
