Mikael Fagerholm
Tenor Mikael Fagerholm has after Opera Academy in Gothenburg been engaged as opera singer in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
At the Norwegian Opera in Oslo, he has performed as Nemorino in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore (TV production), Tamino in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Simon in Bettlerstudent and Alfredo in Verdi's La traviata.
At the Royal Swedish Opera, he has performed in roles as Prince Yamadori in Madama Butterfly and A Lead Singer in Eugene Onegin, and as a soloist in Die Zauberflöte, Un ballo in maschera and Salome, etc.
In Sweden, he has sung at Folkoperan in Stockholm. Rodolfo in La bohème and Alfredo in La traviata. At Confidencen in Ulriksdal Castle he sang Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni and at Läckö Castle Erico in Haydn's opera La vera costanza, and Don Jose in Bizet's Carmen in Gothenburg, a role has also been sung in Jyväskylä and Savonlinna. Other roles in Finland have been The Duke in Dargomyski's Rusalka, in Rautavaara's Auringon talo and Rodolfo in La bohème.
At Svenska Teatern in Helsinki he has been engaged as Rewanall in Teaterbåten, as Freddy in My fair Lady. In addition, he has performed with the lead role in operas by Kaj-Erik Gustafsson and Jack Mattsson, the latter also in Serenade – a song cycle composed for Mikael.
