MASQUERADE BALL at the OPERA
- an evening celebrating the future of the Opera
Masquerade balls have been a tradition at the Royal Swedish Opera since the 18th century, now we invite you to a magnificent evening dedicated to the future of the Opera and to our art forms!
It will be an evening of singing, music, dancing, sweet and savory and glasses of sparkling. Mingle with your friends on the Golden Terrace, try your luck at our gaming tables and experience some of the ballroom dances from the past. Our cicerone guides us through the evening as we designate the best costume, auction off experiences in the Opera House and of course, more surprises.
Tickets for the Masquerade Ball cost 2500 SEK. The ticket price includes champagne, canapés, entertainment by singers, musicians and dancers from the Royal Swedish Opera's soloists, the Royal Swedish Orchestra and the Royal Swedish Ballet, as well as late night snacks and a dance floor open until the early hours. As a masquerade guest, you will also contribute to the preservation and development of the Royal Swedish Opera's art forms, for example now when the activities are elsewhere during the renovation years.
Come and celebrate a unique evening with us in true masquerade ball tradition!
The Masquerade Ball is part of the Royal Swedish Opera's philanthropy work and as members of the Fedora Platform, a non-profit organization made up of philanthropists from all over Europe who share the same vision – to support and develop young innovative, creative projects created by both women and men to keep the arts alive and forward-thinking.
