Join us on a guided tour through the opera house and discover its history! Listen to our staff's stories that are not written down in any guidebook.
All our guides have different backgrounds and special interests, so the tours are always very personal. Someone has danced at the Opera for 20 years, another has studied art in depth and a third knows ALL about Gustav III, who established the Royal Swedish Opera in 1773 and who built the country's first opera house, in which he was later murdered in 1792.
Please note that the number of tickets for the guided tours are limited. Price per person: SEK 120. From January 1, 2025: SEK 130/per person.
