Our beautiful Opera House is buzzing with activity - we perform opera, ballet and sometimes concerts in the large format on the Main stage, but also smaller, more intimate formats in the Golden Foyer and the Rotunda. And not infrequently we visit other venues. Below you can find more information about our different price types and price zones on, for example, the Main stage.

Find your way in the auditorium
The auditorium of the main stage is divided into four sections: closest to the stage, is the stalls section (you also find our wheelchair spaces here). The first balcony is called the "grand tier", then follows the second balcony and then, at the top, the third balcony (which is divided into lower and upper sections).
Seating plan
The auditorium has 1153 seats distributed on stalls and three balconies. The ticket price is based on the proximity to the stage and the view af the stage.

How do I get incontact with the box office?
The box office at the Opera is open 2 hours before a performance on the Main stage. You can also email our customer service at [email protected] at any time and they will get back to you during office hours. We have limited telephone hours (phone + 46 8 791 44 00), Mondays to Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. (with occasional exceptions). I am under 26 years of age and have purchased a discounted ticket. How do you check that it is correct?
If you have purchased a ticket with conditions attached, you must be prepared to show identification or student identification at the ticket check.

Can my ticket be rebooked or cancelled if I or someone in my party is ill?
A purchased ticket can be exchanged for another performance during the current season. In that case, changes take place subject to availability no later than 1 working day before the performance date. The change can be made both via your account at operan.se or at the box office/customer service. Read more in our General Terms and Conditions.
