From shorter workshops in class, to involving an entire school over a school year: read more about Creative School with Young Opera.
The Young Opera section is accustomed to working with aesthetic learning processes in schools - and meeting students of all ages, in all types of classes. We examine how it feels to dare to be heard and dare to be listened to, to dare to be seen and dare to take place. Our educators are responsive, focus on the children and ensure that all students are involved in the creative process.
We can offer both small and large Creative School projects. It can be anything from a workshop in the classroom, to involving an entire school over a school year with activities both at the school and in the Opera House. You can find all our activities for creative school in our folder further down the page.

What is Creative School?
The Council of Culture distributes the Creative School grant, which aims for children and young people to take part in professional cultural activities at school. The grant is distributed annually and covers primary school up to year 9. Creative School grants are applied for by the school's principal and applications for grants for the academic year 2024/25 are applied for in January 2024. Read more on the Council of Culture's website. The Young Opera section is an established stakeholder in the Creative School program, with a rich selection for all ages.
