Natalya (Natasha) Beshulya has been a member of the Royal Swedish Orchestra since 2003, but she started as a substitute as early as 1998. Natasha has previously played with, among others, the Radio Symphonics and the Royal Philharmonic. She has appeared as concertmaster at Opera på Skäret and Södertälje Opera. In addition to this, is also active as a chamber musician and teacher.
Natasha was born and raised in Donetsk (Ukraine), where she studied with H. Edelstein and A. Karavatsky at the Donetsk State Music Academy S. S. Prokofiev. Then continued studies with Postgraduate Education at the Tchaikovskiy National Academy of Music in Kiev. There she studied and worked as an assistant for prof. A. Gorokhov. Her essay on J. Brahms violin sonatas was published in Ukraine.
After her studies, she worked as concertmaster in the Donetsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and as a teacher at the Donetsk State Music Academy S.S. Prokofiev until 1996 when she moved to Sweden.
