Vincenzo Milletarì is one of the leading Italian conductors of his generation.
In the 2024/25 season Vincenzo returned to Göteborg Opera with Otello; the Prague State Opera with La traviata; and the Royal Swedish Opera with La bohème. On symphonic stages, he will make debuts with Orchestra dell’Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and the Slovak State Philharmonic in Košice; as well as returning to Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, and the Oviedo Filarmonia in Spain.
Previously Vincenzo conducted Tosca at the Den Jyske Opera of Aarhus; a new production of Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Royal Swedish Opera; concert performances of Suor Angelica with the Orchestra Sinfonica of Milan; L’aio nell’imbarazzo at the Donizetti Opera Festival in Bergamo; and Donizetti’s Deux hommes et une femme at the Opéra de Tours.
He also made his debut with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra; led the New Year’s Eve Concert at the Royal Swedish Opera; opened the season of the Gävle Symphony Orchestra; and conducted concerts with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, the Orchestra Regionale della Toscana, and the Tonkünstler Orchestra in Vienna.
In Summer 2023 he made his debut at the Kissinger Sommer Festival conducting the opening night featuring Freddie De Tommaso and Carmela Remigio.
