In 2024, Hanna Husáhr returned to the role of Ava in the revival of The Promise at the Royal Swedish Opera (world premiere in 2022). In 2023, she made her role debut as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at the Norwegian Opera.
Before that, she appeared as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte in Stockholm and as Christa in The Makropulos Case at Malmö Opera. At the Royal Swedish Opera, she made her role debut in the 2021/22 season as Gilda in Rigoletto. The season included two more role debuts; Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Sister Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, both at the Royal Swedish Opera. The season before, Hanna Husáhr performed Britten’s Les Illuminations at the season opening of the Stockholm Concert Hall.
In 2019/20, Hanna Husáhr sang Woglinde in Das Rheingold at the New Opera in Denmark. She also sang First Niece in Peter Grimes in Oslo, Bergen and in the Royal Festival Hall, London, participated in several concerts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, both on Swedish Television and livestreamed.
Hanna Husáhr has previously visited the National Opera in Bergen, Norway, with the role of Sophie in Werther. She has appeared as Pat Nixon in John Adams’ opera Nixon in China at the Royal Swedish Opera, Greta in Hansel and Gretel at the Malmö Opera, Romilda in Xerxes at the Opera in Versailles, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro and Céphise in Pygmalion at the Drottningholm Court Theatre (Minkowski).
In 2017, Hanna Husáhr received the Birgit Nilsson Scholarship and the Håkan Mogren Foundation Scholarship, as well as the Opera Friends at the Royal Opera Scholarship. During the 2016 Wilhelm Stenhammar Competition. Hanna was awarded the Mozart Prize. Hanna received the 2013 Christina Nilsson Scholarship and the Jussi Björling Scholarship 2011.
Hanna Husáhr has studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the University College of Opera in Gothenburg and the Finnish National Opera.
