Mirjam came to Sweden in 2007 when she got a job in the Royal Swedish Orchestra. Since then, her life as a cellist is mostly about opera. But Mirjam also loves to play chamber music and anything related to baroque cello.
Previously, she played with the "Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden" for many years as a student and had a longer temporary position in the "Staatskapelle Halle".
She is regularly in Jos van Immerseel's orchestra "Anima Eterna Brugge".
Mirjam was educated in Weimar and Dresden and took a diploma in baroque cello in Munich.
In her spare time, Mirjam likes many things: right now, dancing the tango.
