Part 4: the opera house

Welcome to the Opera House! Art and magic is created here all year round. Did you know that the Opera House is twelve storeys high and 27,000 square meters in size? That’s the equivalent of 64 basketball courts! In this episode of The Magical House, we pay the auditorium a visit and have a peak behind the main stage – there’s so much to discover behind the scenes during a performance!

Together with our discoverer Sara, we meet some of the key people who work here. Just about everyone on and behind the stage is equally important to make the Opera a truly magical house.The Young Opera section has created the web series The Magical House for grades 1-3. Here there are over 1000 rooms and 120 professions - which we discover together!
