Part 6: the archive

In this episode our cicerone Sara visits the archive, a place filled with the Royal Swedish Opera's history. The archivist Helena shows us grand old books with both gossip and disciplinary rules from the 18th century. In the archive there are also objects, scenery models and costumes, but why are some of the these placed in the freezer? And when does something become history, tomorrow or maybe already today? We also learn who is called »the Swedish nightingale« and what happened when she got discovered!

The Young Opera section has created the web series The Magical House for grades 1-3. Here there are over 1000 rooms and 120 professions – which we discover together!The episode is accompanied by a teacher's guide (in Swedish) that can be used in the classroom as well as at home.
