Kristina grew up in Delsbo, Hälsingland and is educated at the Music Colleges in Piteå and Malmö and at the Opera College in Stockholm.
After her debut as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute at the Royal Opera in 2001, she has sung roles such as Näktergalen/ Elden (The Child and Ghosts), Konstanze (Entführung aus dem Serail), Gilda (Rigoletto), Zdenka (Arabella), Elisa (Il re pastore), Amina ( La Sonnambula), Sophie (der Rosenkavalier), Pamina (The Magic Flute), The Countess (The Marriage of Figaro) at opera houses in Sweden and abroad, including at the Royal Opera, Gothenburg Opera, Drottningholm Court Theater, NorrlandsOperan, Staatsoper Berlin, Opera de Montpellier and Teatro Carlo Felice.
Has collaborated with conductors such as René Jacobs, Andrew Manze, Adam Fisher, Fabio Biondi, Thomas Dausgaard and Arnold Östman.
Kristina is a sought-after concert singer and has been a soloist with, among others, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Radio Choir, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, the Estonian Symphony Orchestra, the Broadcasting Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2017, has been a permanent employee in the Royal Swedish Opera's chorus.
