Mikael Stenbaek was educated at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm in choral conducting, the musician and soloist class in singing between 1996-2002 and has since the late 90s worked and established himself as a concert, oratorio and church singer with the whole of Europe as his field of work.
At the Royal Swedish Opera, Mikael has appeared in roles such as A Young Servant (Elektra), A Priest (Die Zauberflöte), The Christmas Goat/Parpignol (La bohème), Siegfried (Die lustige Witwe), Charles (Value Creation), Samuel (The Promise), Tobias (Sweeney Todd), Cop (A Midsummer Night's Dream) and Tim (Melancholia).
