Mezzo-soprano Olga Medianova comes from Tashkent in Uzbekistan and is educated at the Tashkent Conservatory of Music. She has been employed in the Royal Swedsih Opera chorus since 1998 and has appeared in soloist roles such as Second maid in Elektra, Sister Dolcina in Suor Angelica and Governess in The Queen of Spades.
She has also performed roles at the Tashkent Opera (Navoi Theater): Mercedes in Carmen, Olga and Filipyevna in Eugen Onegin, Berta in The Barber of Seville, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Emilia in Otello, The Innkeeper in The Fiery Angel, The Innkeeper and Fyodor in Boris Godunov, Martha in Faust, Martha and Laura in Iolantha, and Ulrika in the Un ballo in maschera.
Olga has also performed Alice in Lucia di Lammermoor at Malmö Opera.
