Folke Alin
Folke Alin was born in Uppsala in 1960 and studied at the Academy of Music in Stockholm, where he graduated in 1984.
Chorus Master at the Royal Swedish Opera 1997–2014, repetiteur periodically 2015–2022 and then Deputy Chorus Master.
Alin has since 1983 been a répétiteur and accompanist in the Orphei Drängar singing group and since 1994 is the chorus' deputy conductor, with a number of his own productions and CD recordings as conductor and pianist.
1987-1997 he was a rehearsal director, chorus master and conductor at the Folkoperan in Stockholm and 2015–2020 in vik. chorus master at the Gothenburg Opera. 2020–2021 also guest teacher at several projects at Stockholm University of the Arts.
Folke Alin has made a number of productions as a studio for the Radiokören and Eric Ericson's Kammarkör and then collaborated with a number of world conductors, such as Daniel Harding, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Riccardo Muti.
